Side-eye.

He’s the kind of guy that had a rough start.
He’s the kind of guy that didn’t play nice.
He’s the kid of guy that hurt, because he was hurting.

He’s the kind of guy that good girls liked.
He’s the kind of guy that was dealing with his own stigmas.
He’s the kind of guy that would have never looked in my direction.
He’s the kind of guy that would have made fun of me in high school.
He’s the kind of guy that would lower an already low self-esteem.
He’s the kind of guy that accepted society by rejecting society.
He’s the kind of guy that now wants to be my friend.
He’s the kind of that now wants my attention.
He’s the kind of guy that now takes me to lunch.
He’s the kind of guy that now bares his soul.
He’s the kind of that wants to know how I tick.
He’s the kind of guy that now wants to taste my lips.
He’s the kind of guy that now wants to make me tock.
He’s the kind of guy that wants the kinda girl like me to be his wife.
I can’t help to side-eye that kind of guy. I can’t help to be impressed by the whole thing.

Weekend Two: Play with Light

The assignment was to practice using the Quality of Light throughout the day. I’m usually in Manhattan — so these pics are in Midtown East and on the Upper West Side.

Good morning sunshine :)

Day 9 Assignment : Warmth & The Quality of Light

I woke up this morning so glad to see the sun. I snapped these pics through the blinds in my bedroom window. I am such a sucker for a sunrise and sunset. The sun is so inspiring! The light itself is a guide. The way the sun colors the sky is amazing and decorates the day ahead or the winding down time. I feel lucky when I’m able to see it, let alone snap a photo.

Day 8 Assignmnet: Natural World & Leading Lines

It was so nice out today. I saw people out enjoying the pre-spring warm air. The sun was bright and unavoidable. It’s started to get cloudy and there was a chill in the air around the happy hour…

And then.. Mother Nature washed away the day leaving streaks of reflected life.
